As the Player-knights travel, they come upon a
simple bridge over a gentle river. The bridge is an old
stone bridge built back in Roman times. The verdant
woods flank both ends of the bridge.
As the entourage approaches the bridge, they come
upon the sight of a weeping damsel. Her clothes are
ragged and dirty. Her hands are held to her face, as if to
hold back her sadness which still escapes as dolorous
weeping. There does not seem to be any sign of where
she had come from. No carriage, no horse.
It seems the
Player-knights will have to serve as her unlikely heroes.
Or does it?
The Gamemaster is welcome to add this to any game
session as the Player-knights travel.
