Salt and Sass Games plays Cat's Dream
Very thankful that this year started with Salt and Sass playing, Cat's Dream.
I loved how they were able to share how to play the game while playing it! And I really enjoyed listening to the unfolding story.
I also love the fact you don't use the do-over approach! I too love seeing where it goes!
Thank you for creating the video and I hope you enjoyed the game.

Arj's Game Room plays Cat's Dream
Was tremendously touched that awesome GM Arj decided to try playing my little game, Cat's Dream.
The game was one of the few games that found an audience and I honestly wish it was able to get the recognition it deserves. But alas, life has other plans, it seems. Anyway, here's his take on the game and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did!
Despite it being your first game, Arj, watching you go through the rules has actually opened my eyes to some adjustments I should consider in future books. I loved how you approached the game and I was happy you chose Rupert for your character name. Thank you so much for playing!

Cat's Dream Update
TAG Sessions extends our thanks the judge's panel for nominating Cat's Dream for Best Art and Game of the Year in the 2020 Indie Groundbreaker Awards. The nominations alone are a great honor and a recognition of the work that the team put into this game and for this. We are highly grateful.
However, due to personal reasons, we've decided to ask that Cat's Dream be withdrawn from this year's nominees. We wish all the best to the other nominees and look forward to who will win in the different categories.
Again, thank you for recognizing the work behind Cat's Dream and for continuing to support independent game designers through initiatives like the Indie Groundbreaker Awards.

And the IGDN Indie Groundbreaker Awards 2020 Nominees are in!
Cat's Dream has just garnered two Nominations:
and
Tremendously proud and happy for Ivan Frani, my amazing friend and artist who helped capture the desired look, energy, and emotions on each piece for the game. Congratulations, Ivan!
You can check out more of his work and contact him here: https://www.artstation.com/ivanchristian
Special thanks as well to Jovan who was the reason I wrote the game in the first place. The story behind the game's creation can be found in the book itself. Thank you!
Congratulations and cheers to all the other nominees as well! I can see a lot of familiar names and faces among the games and I am very proud to see so many awesome games listed there.
From the site:
The Indie Groundbreaker Awards, while presented by the IGDN, are meant to recognize all indie designers across the industry. Therefore, our judging panel will be made up of five judges, 2 from within the IGDN and 3 from the greater industry. These judges will provide an unbiased group decision, as games they have worked on will not be eligible for submission this year.
Winners are announced at the IGDN Social held at Gen Con in Indianapolis each year. Given the COVID-19 Pandemic, in 2020, we’ll be holding our first online ceremony on July 29th, 2020!
