Blood and Smoke: the Strix Chronicles

It begins!

I was such a huge fan of the chronicle books that were released before in the Classic World of Darkness, I find myself tempted to support this just to see more of them come out in time.

Must Read: Pixar's 22 Rules Storytelling

The awesome DinoIgnacio posted this version of Pixar's 22 Rules on Storytelling which was originally tweeted by former Pixar artist Emma Coats back in 2011.  The rules are fantastic and can benefit game masters, players and storytellers who want to make their games have more coherent and awesome experiences.

Amen! Amen to this!
I've seen many others who approach games which such an antagonist approach to the role of the GM, I am happy to know I'm not alone in viewing GMing as a co-creative role with the players.

Recommended: 11 Ways to be a Better Roleplayer

I've decided to make it a point to repost links here of great articles that I've come across which share new insight and ideas on gaming, storytelling, and enjoying games.  Usually I just reshare these articles and links in either Facebook or Google Plus, but now I realize it would be great to have the links here too so even those who have never met me may chance upon them and get to read them too.

Today's featured link is 11 Ways to be a Better Roleplayer by Grant.
The Article is very insightful and everyone has a specific number they feel closest to. I personally love number ten.  So go read it and heck, I even highly recommend you let your group read it.
